"Not one size fits all Methodology...

Personalised, Tailored Treatment"

Injury Assessment and Treatment

You are in pain. We get it. Not only do we have thousands of clinical hours, working with people just like you, we also work in one very particular way, we find the root cause of your symptoms and treat that issue. Symptoms are warning signs from your body, and we have spent years listening to them!

Why choose an Injury Assessment and Treatment over our other services?

"But I don't think I have an injury". We hear this pretty much everyday, and we are here to demystify and simplify this treatment.

  • You have experienced pain, persisting for over 2 weeks
  • The symptoms remain pretty much the same but the intensity of the pain can shift across the periods of the day (for example, your pain may be worse in the morning and easier in the evening, and visa-versa)
  • Changing of pain from dull to sharp, or sharp to dull
  • Referral pains (pain in other areas that are linked)
  • Sensations (such as pins and needles, numbness and tightness).

We are experts in truly listening to these symptoms, tracking them back to the original source and treating this issue once and for all.

The Process

Consultation

The consultation process is key to successfully identifying an Injury. Our expert team use this time to ascertain Where the cause of this injury is and What we can do to prevent this problem in the future.

Assessment

Injuries can look very different depending on each individual case. We offer a tailored approach to Assessing and Treating your Injury, looking at the whole picture rather than just the symptoms.

Treatment

Our results driven treatment process gives you just that, Results. We don't focus on the symptoms that ail you, we treat the root cause of your problem.

Why choose this service?

Various types of injuries can occur during exercise and sports, many of which cause acute pain. While injuries can affect almost any part of the body during sports activities, the term "sports injury" typically refers to injuries involving the musculoskeletal (MSK) system. From sprains to strains, shin splints to Achilles tendinitis, and joint dislocations to tissue ruptures, these conditions can result in acute pain. Effective treatment and rehabilitation are essential for managing sports injuries. Failure to promptly identify and treat serious sports injuries can lead to persistent pain and limitations in activity. While rest and 'walking it off' suffice for mild cases, more severe conditions often require comprehensive sports injury rehabilitation.

Get ahead of your injury with Total Sports Rehabilitation!

What types of injuries do you treat?

Sports or work-related injuries are typically categorised as either acute or overuse injuries. Acute injuries occur suddenly and are often caused by external factors such as a direct impact or collision, resulting in conditions like ligament sprains or muscle tears. On the other hand, overuse injuries develop gradually from repetitive strain.

Before starting any rehabilitation or strength-building exercise program, it's crucial to receive an accurate diagnosis of your injury. We specialize in addressing a variety of conditions, including:

  • Sports Injuries
  • Postural Issues
  • Neck and Back Problems
  • Arm and Elbow Injuries
  • Buttock, Hip, and Groin Pain
  • Shin, Calf, and Ankle Injuries
  • Post-operative Rehabilitation
  • Nerve Pain
  • Repetitive Strain Injuries

Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive care tailored to your specific injury, ensuring effective treatment and recovery.
